A little late to the party but I recently attempted to install Debian from the Windows App store and ran into some DCOM errors.
DCOM
Unable to start a DCOM Server: Microsoft.WindowsStore_11712.1001.18.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!App.AppXhqern91xdfs9nhcd85e2vgmtzqt3xcbq.mca as Unavailable/Unavailable. The error:
"5"
Happened while starting this command:
"C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_11712.1001.18.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\WinStore.App.exe" -ServerName:App.AppXc75wvwned5vhz4xyxxecvgdjhdkgsdza.mca
Google + Powershell
```
PS C:\Users\evanr> Get-AppXPackage -allusers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallL
ocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
```
Love me some Debian
Not that I run it exclusively on Windows but I’ve switched from Cygwin to Debian WSL, which is one less package to install.
